Harewood Lodge is just one of the many Freemasons Lodges that meet in The Province of Yorkshire West Riding. We are one of 171 other Masonic Lodges that meet in the Province and those 171 Lodges have about 5000 members in total.
Harewood Lodge meets at Otley Masonic Hall at Westbourne House just off Bradford Road. Westbourne House is a catering venue and the home of Blackmoor Dining & Events Ltd offering a sophisticated venue for weddings, corporate events, and beyond.
Freemasonry has no political or religious affiliations. We have members of all ages, races, religions, cultures and backgrounds. Individual Lodges such as Harewood Lodge meet monthly to perform our ceremonies, the roots of which lie in the traditions of the medieval stonemasons who built our castles and cathedrals. After each monthly meeting we enjoy a “Festive Board” which is formal dining evening. We also meet up weekly which may be practicing our ceremonies or looking after the administration of the Lodge. These “practice nights” are a more informal gathering followed by a drink in the bar. We welcome membership enquiries - more details here
